Due to unsafe trail conditions caused by the recent heavy rainfall and flooding, the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park will be closed until Thursday, January 17, and Friday, January 18.  On Saturday, January 19, rangers will evaluate trail conditions, and if the trails are safe, the Park will be reopened on Saturday. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Red Flag Warning for Los Angeles County. The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park (CHWP) will be closed on Thursday, November 8, and Friday, November 9, 2018. The CHWP will reopen on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

The National Weather Service may further extend the warning if critical weather conditions continue. Please plan accordingly. Updates will be posted on the City Website at www.ci.claremont.ca.us or the National Weather Service at National Weather Service.
